For Council consideration is a recommendation to confirm the completion of the year -long probation of Mick
Kaehler, who was hired as the Building Official on June 28, 1999. Per the City's Personnel Policy his
supervisor, Jim Parsons, has completed a written assessment of his performance and found it to be satisfactory.
He has recommended to the City Administrator that Mick be considered a regular employee once the June 28'
anniversary date has arrived, pending approval of the City Council.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ACCEPT RECOMMENDATION OF THE DEPARTMENT
SUPERVISOR FOR THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF PROBATION OF MICK KAEHLER,
BUILDING OFFICIAL.
