This item requests a change in parking regulations on Dodd Boulevard from Chippendale
Avenue to Delft Avenue. The City will be obtaining State Aid funding for the reconstruction of
Dodd Boulevard from Chippendale to Shannon Parkway as the 2000 Street and Utility
Reconstruction Improvements, City Project #316 and a requirement of State Aid funding is to
have designated "No Parking" on the roadway. This is the same process we had to follow with
Biscayne Avenue at the last Council meeting.
With the future reconstruction of Dodd Boulevard from Shannon Parkway to Delft Avenue,
Staff would like to be consistent and sign all of Dodd Boulevard "No Parking" to Delft Avenue.
Cimarron Avenue from Dodd Boulevard to 145' Street West will also be reconstructed as a
part of the 2000 Street and Utility Reconstruction Improvements. It is recommended that
parking be restricted to one side in this area, with the west side of the street signed "no
parking ".

OF NO PARKING SIGNS ALONG BOTH SIDES OF DODD BOULEVARD (DELFT AVENUE TO
CHIPPENDALE AVENUE) AND CIMARRON AVENUE (WEST SIDE) FROM DODD BOULEVARD
