Attached please find Change Order #2 for the Birger Pond Lift Station Improvement Project.
This Change Order addresses the addition of SCADA System Monitoring panels at Birger Pond
and Wensmann Pond to allow for the operation of the pumps at Birger Pond and control the
elevation at Wensmann Pond. The addition of these panels will allow for Public Works to
operate the lift station from the Public Works office versus accessing the site directly.
The Change Order is for the cost of adding the panels and a lump sum amount for electrician
installation. The electrician installation portion of the project will be based on actual work to be
completed not to exceed- $3,500. The total amount of the Change Order is $23,471.94.
Staff recommendation is that Change Order #2 be approved in the amount of $23,471.94 .
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER #2 TO BIRGER POND
OUTLET IMPROVEMENTS, CITY PROJECT #262 IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,471.94.
