CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: SEPTEMBER 5, 2000
For City Council consideration is a recommendation to hire Ms. Bridget Deer for the position of part-time
Building Inspections Secretary. The City received 18 applications for this position; five candidates were
interviewed. The panel agreed that Ms. Deer is well qualified for position; she previously worked for several
years as a secretary /receptionist for a private building contractor. Ms. Deer will start work on September 18,
2000 pending Council approval.
