For Council consideration is a recommendation to confirm the completion of the year -long probation of Beth
Richtsmeier, who was hired as a Police Patrol Officer on August 3, 1999. Per the City's Personnel Policy her
supervisor, Sergeant Iim O'Leary, has completed a written assessment of her performance and found it to be
satisfactory. He and the Police Chief have recommended to the City Administrator that Beth be considered a
regular employee once the August 3' anniversary date has arrived, pending approval of the City Council.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ACCEPT RECOMMENDATION OF THE DEPARTMENT
HEAD FOR THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF PROBATION OF BETH RICHTSMEIER, POLICE
PATROL OFFICER.
