is a recommendation for the Council to hire David M Calvin as a Building Inspector for the
City of Rosemount. Mr. Calvin was one of the five candidates interview for this position, and he
was clearly the most qualified. Mr Calvin has past experience as an inspector with the City of
Chaska and Scott County. He received a great deal of praise from his former supervisors, and
will be able to make an immediate impact with the current building department staff.
Staff recommends that the Council approve the hiring of David M. Calvin for the position of
Building Inspector.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve David M. Calvin for the position of Building
Inspector.
