Dennis Wardinski has submitted his resignation, for personal reasons, effective March 27, 2000. A letter
outlining his reasons is attached.
Tim Boemecke, a probationary firefighter, has decided to continue his career in the military and has taken an
immediate transfer to Korea. He did not have time to submit a letter of resignation, but has turned in all of his
fire equipment and does wish to officially resign as a Rosemount Firefighter. I suggest the effective date of his
resignation be March 27, 2000.
Chris Fliss, a probationary firefighter, has left the Rosemount area. He did so in the fall of 1999. I was not able
to make contact with him until March of this year. He is living in Oakdale and does not plan to return to the
city in the near future. He had intended to write a letter of resignation for some quite some time. I would like to
see his resignation also accepted on March 27, 2000, based on verbal request.
With the addition of five new firefighters and the resignation of these three firefighters, we now have a total of
thirty -six firefighters on the Rosemount Fire Department.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ACCEPT THE RESIGNATIONS OF FIREFIGHTERS
DENNIS WARDINSKI, TIM BOEMECKE AND CHRIS FLISS WITH AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF
MARCH 27, 2000.
