On May 25, 2000, City Council interviewed five candidates for the Community Development
Director position and has now offered the position to James Parsons. Mr. Parsons has accepted
the position and will begin work on May 8, 2000. Mr. Parsons currently works for the City of
Hopkins as the Assistant to the City Manager and has also worked for the City of Jordan as the
Economic Development Director.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION to approve the hiring of James Parsons as Community
Development Director.
