Once again the City of Rosemount has received the distinguished award of Tree City USA. This is the City's
8'' consecutive year being recognized as a Tree City USA. As part of our participation in the program, we
must meet the following standards set by the National Arbor Day Foundation:
• Tree Board or Department
• Community Tree Ordinance
• A Community Forestry program
• An Arbor Day Observance and Proclamation
Meeting the four standards for becoming a Tree City USA provides the direction for a community forestry
program. Additional benefits include educational opportunities, improved public image and citizen pride.
