This item requests the second and final payment for Ryan Contracting Co., in the amount of
$64,036.78 for City Project #309, the Biscayne Pointe 2 "d Addition Street & Utility
Improvements.
The project is now 100% complete. The job was under budget by about 1 %.
Upon final payment a two -year warranty period begins (until October 17, 2002) on the streets
and utilities. The City also accepts these facilities for perpetual maintenance.
Attached is a copy of the Construction Pay Voucher #6 and final for your information. Staff
and SEH, Inc. recommends approval of this payment and perpetual maintenance.

Attached is the sixth and final Application for Payment for the above - referenced project. The
amount due on this application is $64,036.78. This will bring the total project construction cost
to $775,133.86 which is about 99 percent of the low bid of $779,575.35.
The City has conducted a final inspection and all punch list items have been completed. Lien
waivers, IC -134 forms and a Consent of Surety are attached for your files.
We recommend the City make payment on this final Application for Payment in the amount of
$64,036.78 to Ryan Contracting.
