The City has received a petition for street and utility improvements for Carrousel Plaza South
Townhouses from Heritage Development. This project consists of a 38 -unit townhouse
development located east of Chippendale Avenue and south of the movie theater and will
include the extension of sanitary sewer service to the Harold Wachter property.
Since there are other properties affected by utility plans in the project area a public hearing will
be required. It is recommended that the engineering for this project be completed by SEH.
Therefore, the schedule is tentatively set as follows:

RESOLUTION 2000 -
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND ORDERING FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR
CARROUSEL PLAZA SOUTH STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT #322
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount has received a petition from the
property owners who will benefit from the proposed Carrousel Plaza South Street and Utility
Improvements, City Project #322.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount as
follows:
(1) A certain petition requesting utility and street improvements to their property,
filed with the Council on October 17, 2000, is hereby declared to be signed by
the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This
declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035.
(2) The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and that person is instructed
to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-
effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed
or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the
improvement as recommended.
ADOPTED this 17th day of October, 2000.

Legal Description
Outlot A, CARROUSEL PLAZA SOUTH, Dakota County, Minnesota, according to the
recorded plat thereof. Together with and/or subject to the following easements over Lot
1, Block l and Outlot A, CARROUSEL PLAZA SOUTH,
1. a 32 foot wide easement for ingress, and egress, utilities and drainage
purposes over an area centered on and running the entire length of the
westerly Line of said Lot 1, Block 1.
2. a 24 foot wide easement for ingress, egress, utilities and drainage purposes
running from STH #3 to Chippendale Avenue, the south line of said easement
