The federal, state, and city will be holding elections on November 7t', 2000. Minnesota State Statutes require
that no public meetings be held between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on election day. Therefore, staff requests that
the regular City Council meeting begin at 8:00 p.m. rather than the regular 7:30 p.m.
There is a Public Hearing scheduled for that evening at 8:00 p.m. as well. This will be conducted as soon as
possible after the meeting is opened.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to change the start time of the regular City Council meeting on
November 7, 2000, to 8 :00 p.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the time of the City Council meeting of November 71",
2000 will be changed due to the General Election. The regular start time is 7:30 p.m. but for
November 7h it will start at 8:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Rosemount City Hall,
2875 145th Street West, Rosemount, Dakota County, Minnesota.
