To accomplish this, CIT -IS proposes the use of Active Server Pages and Microsoft Access to create a database driven set of pages that will include Coming Events, Career Opportunities, and Council Minutes. By using a database to control the pages, changes and additions will be as simple as typing in the information or uploading the council minutes. Project Requirements Cowin Events: Keeping informed of coming events is very important today. Through this page, users will be able to see all upcoming events in the city. This can be done either through a 30 -day calendar view or through a simple listing of the coming events. Career Opportunities: With the strong job market today it is imperative to have easy access to any available positions. Using this page, users will be able to see a list of all current Career Opportunities available. Council Minutes: Viewing accurate and current information is very important to web users. This page will allow users to view the latest council minutes and to keep up to date on council activity. Administration Pages: The Administration Pages will be used by City Of Rosemount personnel to update the information in the site. They will be able to add/change/delete events, career opportunities, and council minutes. Also through these pages, the administrator will be able to upload the actual file that contains the council. minutes. This section will be password protected to allow only authorized personnel to make changes to the site. r-
