As part of the platting process for the Carrousel Plaza Townhomes plat, Heritage Development
has requested the vacation of an existing drainage and utility easement on Outlot A of Carrousel
Plaza South. At the time of platting of Carrousel Plaza Townhomes, the utility and drainage
easement will be expanded to include most of this area and other areas within the plat.
Because the easement was dedicated for public use (drainage & utilities), a public hearing is
required to vacate it. A condition of the approval for vacation is the execution of the Carrousel
Plaza Townhomes plat.
Staff is recommending setting a public hearing for November 21, 2000 to consider this vacation.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE DRAINAGE AND
UTILITY EASEMENT VACATION ON THE CARROUSEL PLAZA SOUTH PLAT ON NOVEMBER
21, 2000 AT 8 :00 P.M.
