The Mississippi River Greenway Planning Project written by Friends of the Mississippi, City of Hastings,
Hoisington Koegler Group, on behalf of the City of Rosemount, Marshan Township and Ravenna Township
has been fully funded.
Mayor Busho and I have met with representatives from these groups to start working on the goal of
organizing a multi jurisdictional geenway planning process along the Mississippi River. Rosemount Parks
and Recreation (RCC) will be hosting a stakeholders /public meeting on Thursday, November 16, 2000 at
7:30 pm.
Representatives from the Friends of the Mississippi and Hoisington Koegler Group will be at the meeting to
provide an update on the project.
