Bud has been employed with the City of Rosemount since 1992. He was first hired as our City Engineer and then was promoted to Public Works Director in June 1994. He has accepted the Public Works Director/City Engineer position with the City of Prior Lake. I shall miss having him as one of our department directors but I wish him the best of luck in his career move. Council needs to discuss at the December 15, 1999 Committee of the Whole meeting how the5� wish to proceed in recruiting for this position. RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ACCEPT BUD OSMUNDSON'S RESIGNATION , November 24, 1999 Mr. Tom Burt City Administrator City of Rosemount 2875 145`" St. West Rosemount, MN 55068 Dear Tom: This letter serves as my resignation from the City of Rosemount effective December 25, 1999. I have taken the City Engineer/Public Works Director Position with the City of Prior Lake. It was a very tough decision to leave Rosemount, mostly because of all the great people I have had a chance to work with. City staff has been great as have the Council members, Commission members, residents and business ow-ners. In addition, there have been numerous City projects which I have been involved with that have provided me with professional challenges and satisfaction when completed. I would like to personally thank the city staff and the City Council for all of your support and friendship over the past eight years and wish you all the best.
