This item requests the second payment to Ryan Contracting Company in the amount of
$124,380.75 for City Project #309, the Biscayne Pointe 2"d Addition Street and Utility
Improvements.
Work completed and represented in this payment as of November 16, 1999 is 70% of the
contracted work. The work has been inspected and is in compliance with the Contract
Documents.
The utility work is complete and the bituminous base coarse is in place. Final punch list items
are to be reviewed by Staff.
Attached is a copy of the Construction Pay Voucher #2 for your information. Staff and SEH,
Inc., recommend approval of this second payment.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT #2 TO RYAN CONTRACTING
COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF 5124,380.75 FOR THE BISCAYNE POINTE 2"D ADDITION

Attached is Application for Payment No.2 for the above-referenced project. The amount due on this
application is $124,380.75, which brings the total amount to be paid to $553,652.26. This is
approximately 70 percent of the bid amount of $779,575.35. The work to date includes utility
installation, sub�rade preparation and curb and gutter construction.
We recommend the City make payment on this Application for Payment in the amount of
$124,380.75 to Ryan Contracting Co.
