This item requests the first payment to Northwest Asphalt, Inc. in the amount of 579,863.65
for City Project #310, the Oakridge Estates Street and Utility Improvements.
Work completed and represented in this payment as of November 16, 1999, is 37% of the
contracted work. The work has been inspected and is in compliance with the Contract
Documents.
All pipework is complete. The base coarse is in place. The final plat has not yet been
accepted by the County due to the surveying issues.
Attached is a copy of the Construction Pay Voucher #1 for your information. Staff and SEH,
Inc., recommend approval of this first payment.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT #1 TO NORTHWEST
ASPHALT, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $79,863.65 FOR OAKRIDGE ESTATES STREET AND
UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS, CITY PROJECT #310.

Attached is the first Application for Payment for the above-referenced project. The amount due on
this application is $79,863.65, which is about 37 percent of the bid amount of$214,445.00. The
work to date includes all utility work, curb and gutter construction, and bituminous base course.
We recommend the City make payment on this Application for Payment in the amount of$79,863.65
to Northwest Asphalt, Inc.
