City Engineer/Public Works Director � u � ATTACHMENTS: Resolution APPROVED BY: This item is for Council consideration to not allow parking on the proposed Diamond Path(CR 33)between CSAH 42 and 160"' Street West. The proposed county roadway is being designed to State Aid standards and this"No Parking"resolution is required with this design. The"No Parking"resolution must be sent along with the plans for state aid review. Apple Valley is also adopting a similar resolution since the street is on our common border. Staff is recommending the adoption of the attached resolution. RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PLACEMENT OF NO PARKING SIGNS ALONG DIAMOND PATH, COUNTY ROAD NO. 33,BETWEEN COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY 42 SOUTH TO 160�"; STREET WEST. COUNCIL ACTION: CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 1999- A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PLACEMENT OF NO PARHING SIGNS ALONG DIAMOND PATH (COUNTY ROAD 33) BETWEEN COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY 42 SOUTH TO 160TH STREET WEST WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount is interested in the safety of its residents; and WHEREAS,the continued development in the City of Rosemount has produced high volumes of vehicular and pedestrian traffic within the City of Rosemount; and WHEREAS, Dakota County and the Cities of Apple Valley and Rosemount are jointly constructing Diamond Path(County Road 33)between County State Aid Highway 42 and 160"' St. West(future CSAH 46); and WHEREAS, vehicle pazking along both sides of Diamond Path between CSAH 42 south to 160"' Street West does create a hazard. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Rosemount directs the installation of the appropriate"No Parking" signs on both sides of Diamond Path (County Road 33)between CSAH 42 south to 160�' Street West.
