This item requests the second and final payment to McNamara Contracting,Inc., in the amount
of$22,257.65 for trail construction for the Koch Minnesota Trail, City Project#311.
The minor 0.6% cost-overrun is mainly due to an increase in areas sodded.
Upon final payment, a two-year wananty period begins(until September 7, 2001) on the trail.
The City also accepts these facilities for perpetual maintenance.
Attached is a copy of the application for payment for your information. Staff recommends
approval of this second and final payment request and acceptance of the trail for perpetual
maintenance.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT#2 AND F1NAL TO
McNAMARA CONTRACTING,INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $22,257.65 FOR THE KOCH
MINNESOTA TRAIL STREET AND UTILITY IlVIPROVEMENTS, CITY PROJECT#311
