Dear Mr. White:
This letter is to inform you that the Rosemount Police Department is responsible for handling
violations of City Ordinance. An inspection of Roy's Sports Center reveals many violations
under the Zoning Ordinance.
This Ordinance, Section 4.9, states that trash, junk, and junk vehicles are not allowed to be stored
outside. Currently the fenced area of Roy' Sports Center contains an enumerable amount of
violations of this Ordinance. These items include, but are not limited to the following: old
snowmobiles and snowmobile parts, old bicycles and bicycle parts, old lawn mowers and lawn
mower parts, and old garden tillers. In fact, most of what is being stored on the property is in
violation of this Ordinance. There are also two vehicles being stored there which under City
Ordinance 8-2-2 are defined as junk. All of the above items discussed need to either be removed
or stored in an enclosed authorized structure such as a garage.
The Police Department expects that the above violations will be brought into compliance by July
4, 1999. I have enclosed a copy of the pertinent Ordinances for your review.
Sincerely,

Matt Karlson .
Community Service Officer
Rosemount Police Department
