Tom Burt, Administrator
City of Rosemount

Dear Tom:
I am officially providing you my resignation notice from the City of Rosemount effective
September 17, 1999. I have been offered a position as Director of Community
Development for the Dakota County Housing & Redevelopment Authority.
Since starting for Rosemount in late 1995, I have enjoyed working on a wide range of
projects and programs. Rosemount has much to be proud of as a growing city and one
with a great history. I will always remember working with many great people here,
including those that I've worked with most closely at City Hall.
During my last month here, I will work hard to complete some of the projects that are "in
process", including the Comprehensive Plan, Quonset building, Commercial Plan, and
the decorative lighting. Otherwise, I will be very close (three blocks away) if you should
need additional information after I leave.
Finally, I look forward to working with the City of Rosemount on future projects on
behalf of the Dakota County HRA. One of the best things about this career move is that
I will still get to work with a great list of cities in this area.
Tom, thank you very much for nearly four years of your individual support to my career
and to my personal life. Good luck to you in your future as well.
Sincerely,
__,
Dan Rogness
