Ms. Susan Walsh
Assistant to Administrator/City Clerk
City of Rosemoun-t
2875 145th Street West
Rosemount, MN 55068-4997
Dear Ms. Walsh:
Would you please schedule an appearance for me on the Rosemount City
Council agenda for the council meeting of NnvPmhr 2 1999___ as we discussed
on the telephone. Thanks to a conversation with the Mayor, I am aware that
the meeting won't start until 8:00 PM because of the election.
Minnesota Statutes 169.14 subd. 5 states that a city authority may
request that the Commissioner of Transportation study a road and erect more
appropriate signs if they feel there are safety issues. It is my intention to
tell the Council of my concerns regarding the proposed speed limit and anti-
cipated traffic on the extension of Diamond Path that is currently under
construction between County Road 42 and 160th street in the hope that they
will ask the Commissioner of Transportation to reevaluate the situation.
Thank you very much for your kind and efficient cooperation in this
matter.
Very truly yours,
..
