This is a request for City Council to consider a recommendation to hire Daniel Ruzicka to fill the vacant
mechanic's position. Mr. Ruzicka was one of six candidates who went through two interview sessions and a
written test. He has been employed for approximately five years as Equipment Superintendent for Ryan
Contracting and before this worked for other local contracting companies as a mechanic. His work experience,
mechanical background and other attributes make him an excellent candidate for this position. His has
successfully passed his pre-employment physical, drug testing and driver's license check.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE THE HIIZING OF DANIEL RUZICKA FOR
THE MECHANIC POSITION.
