The Rosemount Junior Chamber of Commerce, also called the Jaycees,has been actively involved with youth,
family, and community for the past 37 years. In support of their positive influence in Rosemount I would like to
proclaim the week of January 17 to 23, 1999 to be"Rosemount Junior Chamber of Commerce Week."
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION to proclaim the week of January 17th-23rd, 1999, as
Rosemount Junior Chamber of Commerce Week.

PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, the Rosemount Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) has
actively involved itself in the life of our community for the future development of
community leaders as an organization, nationally, and in the City of Rosemount
for the past 37 years; and
WHEREAS, The Rosemount Junior Chamber of Commerce has contributed
humanitarian projects such as Mission Inn, Adopt-A-Family, Thanksgiving
Baskets, and the Easter Egg Hunt; and
WHEREAS, the Rosemount Junior Chamber of Commerce has adopted the
basic tenets of purpose of brotherhood,free enterprise, government of laws,
human personality, and service to humanity;
NOW THEREFORE, I, Cathy Busho, Mayor of the City of Rosemount, do
hereby proclaim the week of January 17th - 23rd, 1999, to be
"Rosemount Junior Chamber of Commerce Week"
in the City of Rosemount, and urge all residents to recognize the importance of
community service to all of its citizens.
