This item is a continuation of the Public Hearing for consideration of the public
improvements for the Conley Avenue Street and Utility Improvements, City Project #303.
I will provide a brief overview of the project at the meeting and answer any questions that
you may have. We have worked out the loose end for the project and recommend that
the project move forward.
We found out last week that we are going to receive $350,000 from MNDOT to assist
in funding the improvements to Conley Avenue and the removal of the access of 140th
Street to U. S. Hwy 52. The remaining costs are to be assessed to the project area,
except for the utility core costs identified in the Feasibility Report.
After the Public Hearing, Staff recommends that the Council move forward with the
project and take the action as described below.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE
PROJECT AND ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
CONLEY AVENUE STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS, CITY PROJECT #303.

A RESOLUTION FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE PROJECT AND
ORDERING THE PREPARATION
OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
CONLEY AVENUE STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT #303
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount ordered a feasibility report for the
Conley Avenue Street and Utility Improvements, City Project #303; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received and accepted the Feasibility Report on March 16,
1999 for City Project #303; and
WHEREAS, the City Council ordered and held a public hearing on April 6, 1999 and continued
on April 20, 1999.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount hereby
orders the improvements of the Conley Avenue Street and Utility Improvements, City Project
#303.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount orders the
preparation of plans and specifications for said improvements of City Project No. 303.
ADOPTED this 20th day of April, 1999.
