May 14 - 15, City-Wide Garage Sale
Plan to follow the trail through Rosemount to get the treasures that are
sure to be hidden in someone's garage or basement at this community
wide garage sale. Pick up maps at Knowlan's Groceries, Horizon
Pharmacy (formerly Loch Pharmacy), Rosemount City Hall, and
Rosemount Community Center.
May 15, Rosemount Garden Club Plant Sale
A great place to get your garden started. Perennials, annuals, house
plants and vegetable plants. Saturday, May 15th , 9 am to noon at the
City Hall lower parking lot.
May 15, Arbor Day Celebration
Join us as we observe the 7th Annual Rosemount Arbor Day at 10 am at
Central Park next to City Hall parking lot. We will recognize the
importance of Arbor Day with a brief program hosted by Mayor Busho.
Trees will be given away which are 6' to 8' high to residents of
Rosemount. Tree species include ash, birch, crab, linden, oak and
maples. The first 150 residents who have proof of residency will receive
a tree; one per household.

May 22, Police Dept. Unclaimed Property Sale
Many unclaimed bicycles and miscellaneous items will be sold on a first
come first serve basis according to the affixed price. Saturday, May
22nd, 8:00 am to noon.
May 22, Rabies/License Clinic (Dogs & Cats)
Rabies vaccinations are at the reduced price of$5, sponsored by
Shamrock Animal Clinic on Saturday from 10 am to noon. Animal
license renewal and registration is encouraged. Proof of a rabies
vaccin n is required with a license application. Fees for the two year
license is $10 for spayed/neutered animals and $20 for unspayed/un-
neutered animals.
May 22, Clean-Up Day
The City of Rosemount will hold its annual Clean-Up Day on Saturday,
May 22, 7 am to noon at the Knutson Services Inc. Material Recovery
Facility located at 2785 160th Street West. Each resident is allowed two
pick-up loads of household trash at the cost of$5. Additional fees will
be charged as follows: appliances- $7, air conditioners $15, mattress/box
spring - $12 each. Items not accepted are yard waste, hazardous waste
including oil, auto batteries, tires, paint, thinner, and florescent bulbs.
The Dakota County Eco-Site will take recyclables and household
hazardous waste. SKB Compost Site, 17750 Pilot Knob Rd, Lakeville,
612-460-8332 will take yard waste.
