At the direction of the City Council effective January 3, 1999 the office hours of City Hall will be 8:00
a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This change is to bring office hours more in conformance to other businesses and
considered"normal"work hours.
Mayor and City Council have also directed the hours of City Hall be extended to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesdays
and Thursdays for building permits,motor vehicle licensing and Park and Recreation office hours. This
change is planned to begin in spring. The reason for beginning the hours in spring is to accommodate the
increase in building permit activity beginning in spring.
Both changes will appear in the City news letter as well as press releases will go to the three local
papers.
No formal action is needed by the City Council to change the hours so these changes will go into effect
at the times indicated unless directed by the Council otherwise.
