This is a request for the City Council to approve a three percent annual adjustment to the salary ranges of non-
union regular full time employees for the year 1998. As you recall, three percent adjustments were approved far
1998 as part of the 1997 and 19981abor agreements for AFSCME, LELS and Teamsters employees. This
recommendation for approval would be for the following positions:
Public Works Director Public Works Supervisor
Police Chief Building Official
Finance Director City Planner
Community Development Director Civil Engineer
Parks &Recreation Director Arena Manager
Lieutenant Community Center Manager
Assistant to Administrator Administrative Assistant
Planning/Personnel Secretary
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION to approve a three percent annual adjustment to salary ranges
for the year 1998 for the above listed positions.
