The City of Rosemount would like to recognize our local manufactures by proclaiming Minnesota
Manufacturers Week October 13 - 17, 1997. We recognize the contributions they make in our community by
supporting numerous Park and Recreations programs, DARE, funding for public safety equipment, as well as
supporting athletic programs and our schools. Some of our local manufacturers are Koch Industries, Spectro
Alloys, CF Industries, Greif Brothers, Continental Nitrogen, Endres Processing, Material Recovery,A-1
Concrete, Laidlaw Environmental Services, Geometrix, Cannon Equipment,Rosemount Woods, and many
others. Thank you to Rosemount's industries and all that you do to make our community a better place.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Mayar to proclaim the week of October 13 - 17, 1997, as "Minnesota
Manufacturers Week"with the theme, "Manufacturing Your Future."

vitality; and
WHEREAS, Mnnzcfacturir�g cont�ibztted nearly $210 ynillion in corpo�ate
income taxes in Minnesota, more than any other sector ancl almost 30
percent of total corpo�ate income tccxes in 1996.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Cathy Busho, Mczyor of the City of Rosemount, do

Minnesota's high standard of livin� and economic vitality.
The City of Rosemount would like to recognize our local Nlanufactures by proclauning
Minnesota Manufacturers Week October 13-17, 1997. We recobnize the contributions they
