According to City Policy F-2 , any request for expenditures from a
designated donation account must be approved by the City Council .
Account number 101-22222 has been opened for donations received for the
Police Equipment Fund.
The amount of $772 . 55 is being requested to be drawn from account number
101-22222 for the purchase of a Glock (model 18C) class 3 weapon, two 33
round magazines and a Sure Fire under barrel light (with pressure switch) .
This special weapon is a request from our officers assigned to the Mutual
Aid Assistance Group (MAAG) .
An addendum to the Rosemount Police Duty Weapon Policy was added to govern
to storage, training and use of specialty weapons used by our MAAG
Officers .
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPROVE THE EXPENDITURE OF $772 . 55 AND APPROVE THE AMENDMENTS TO ,
BUDGETS AS GIVEN ON THE ATTP.CHED DONATION REVENUE WORKSHEET.
