For City Council consideration is the hiring of the below listed individuals for the position of firefighter. All of
these candidates have accepted tentative offers of employment. These individuals have successfully completed
all of the pre-employment hiring processes such as physical examination, drug test, background check, written
test, agility test and oral interview. Staff recommends the following individuals be hired:
Garr Nelson, Shawn McDonough, Jeffrey Cook, Douglas Eckerman, Jeffrey Wendel,
James Voelker, Richard Schroeder, and Edward Kropelnicki.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPOINT THE ABOVE-NAMED INDIVIDUALS FOR
THE POSITION OF FIREFIGHTER.
