With the promotion of one of our captains to the position of assistant fire chief we now have a
vacancy in the captain's position. I would recommend, with unanimous support of all of the
other fire officers, Kevin Tucker for the position of captain. Kevin has served as a lieutenant for
several years and should be able to do an excellent job in that position.
With the promotion of Kevin Tucker from lieutenant to captain we would then have a vacancy in
the lieutenant's position. I would recommend Terry Mooney for this lieutenant's position. Terry
has served in the past as lieutenant and has done an excellent job.
We look to the city council to approve these individuals for the positions indicated.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION BY CITY COUNCtL TO APPROVE THE PROMOTIONS OF
THE ABOVE MENTIONED FIREFIGHTERS.
