Approval is requested for a donation expenditure for the purchase of lockers at the Community Center. A
number of donations from City Limits were received for the purpose of supporting youth programs. One of
the fastest growing youth programs offered by the parks and recreation department is teen open gym.
Offered after school, this program attracts up to 40 teens each weekday. Lockers are needed for this
program so that teens can store their valuables conveniently. The lockers can be used during all gym
activities.
The total cost of 18 small lockers with $.25 vend keys is $2,266.32.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve the expenditure of$2,266.32 for the purchase of
lockers at the Community Center and to approve amendments to the budgets as indicated on the attached
donation revenue worksheets.
