This is a request for the City Council to consider the promotion of Mark Fremder to the position of Senior
Engineering Technician. This position is a new classification and was negotiated and approved as part of the
current AFSCME labor agreement with the city. Mr. Fremder's advanced training and knowledge in civil
engineering and CAD and GIS hardware and software systems qualifies him for this position.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPOINT MARK FRENIDER TO THE POSITION OF
SETTIOR ENGINEERING TECHrTICIAN.
