This item is for Council consideration of Payment #1 to Minnesota Petroleum Service,
Inc. for work performed on the fuel tank and pump installation. The new tanks have
been installed and the concrete pad is poured but we are waiting for back-ordered
pumps. They should be arriving in the very near future. After the installation of the new
pumping system the old pumps will be removed and a final payment will be made.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT #1 TO MINNESOTA
PETROLEUM SERVICES, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF 544,000.

Dear Bud:
Please find enclosed the first Minnesota Petroleum Service invoice for the construction of the
Rosemount Public Works Garage Fuel site. The attached request for$44,000 of the total lump sum
amount is consistent with the work completed at the time of this invoice. The work remaining is the
installation of the dispensers, final electrical wiruig,installing the software and removal of the e�cisting
tanks across from public works building. Our estimate of completion is approximately 75 percent
complete which is greater than the 60 percent billing requested by the contractor in the invoice.
Therefore, we recommend the City of Rosemount pay the$44,000 request to Minnesota Petroleum
Service, Inc. for work completed on the above referenced project. If you have any questions or
