Ken Yackly, a member of the Rosemount Fire Department,has submitted his resignation effective
December 20, 1996. Ken has been a member of the Rosemount Fire Department for one year. As is
indicated in his letter, his family commitment will be demanding the majority of his time, and he is moving
closer to his work.
At a regular monthly meeting of the Rosemount Fire Department held on January 28, L997, the membership
accepted Ken Yackly's resignation with an effective date of December 20, 1996.
We look to the city council to ratify this action.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to ratify the fire department's action and accept
Ken Yackly's resignation from the fire department effective December 20, 1996.
