The City has received a petition from the owners of all the lots in the Broback Industrial
Park except the Rosemount Woods Cabinet Shop. They are requesting that the City
construct the streets to allow them to have building permits for the platted lots.
Staff understands that plans were completed for this street improvement many years
ago. The utilities were installed in 1973. The Engineering Department will complete the
Feasibility Report for this project, and there will be a Public Hearing to consider the
improvements due to the fact that it is a petition not signed by 100% of the property
owners. fie. Rosemount Woods Cabinet Shop)
Staff is recommending that the petition be received and Staff be directed to prepare the
Feasibility Report for this project. The proposed schedule is to have the Feasibility
Report, Public Hearing, Plans & Specifications and Bidding completed by February so that
construction can begin as early as possible in the spring.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PETITION
