Independent School District 196 will be holding its school board election on May 21, 1996. The
election laws require that all public meetings be curtailed until 8:00 p.m. Hence, we request that the
regularly scheduled City Council meeting begin at 8:00 p.m. rather than the normal 7:30 p.m.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
MOTION to change the start time of the May 21, 1996 meeting to begin at 8:00 p.m.
