The Shannon Pond 2nd Addition construction was completed in August, 1995. All
public utilities and streets were inspected and accepted by the City as of September 1,
1995. This item is a request to Council to accept the streets and utilities for perpetual
maintenance in the Shannon Pond 2nd Addition. Per the Development Contract and this
acceptance, a two year warranty period begins (until September 1, 1997) on the streets,
watermain, sanitary sewer and storm sewer.
Staff recommends that the City accept the street and utilities.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ACCEPT THE STREETS AND UTILITIES FOR
PERPETUAL MAINTENANCE IN THE SHANNON POND 2ND ADDITION, CITY PROJECT #255.

Dear John:
All of the public works systems in the subject plat have been constructed and tested in
accordance with the approved plans and specifications. Accordingly, we request final
acceptance of the work by the City of Rosemount.
Please return a memorandum of acceptance so that the developers may release the final
retainage to the general contractor.
