EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR ACTION
CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: JANUARY 2, 1996
Marty Forseth of Healtheast and Dani Paulson of the American Heart Association have requested time at this
City Council meeting to present a distinguished service award to Firefighter Joe Gerrits. Mr. Gerrits performed
lifesaving measures to a person who experienced a heart attack this summer, and the American Heart Association
would like to recognize Mr. Gerrits for his involvement in saving this person's life. Commendation plaques will
also be given to the Fire Department and Police Department.
