Box 115 Rosemount, Minnesota 55068 I write as Parks Committee Chair for the Rosemount Lions Club. Please accept our sincere gratitude for all the assistance you and your staff have given us in our attempt to serve the community and garner new members by creating a "Lions Park ". At our general membership meeting on November 20, 1995, a resolution was passed requesting that the City of Rosemount name the park under consideration in the Wensmann 7th Addition "Lions Park ". We believe that the facilities there will be ones which where we can help the City effectively maintain. We also believe that park would also be the sight of community and neighborhood events which would create positive publicity for the Rosemount Lions Club. We hope that the Parks and Recreation Committee will forward our request to the City Council for their consideration. As you requested, I will be present at the December 18, 1995 Parks and Recreation Committee meeting. Once again, thank you for all of your assistance. Very your' Michael E.
