A Preliminary Plat was approved by the City Council on October 19, 1993 for the 80 -acre business
park. One subsequent Final Plat was prepared for the 10 -acre lot purchased for Cannon Equipment,
identified as "Rosemount Business Park." This proposed plat will be the second Final Plat identified
as the "Rosemount Business Park First Addition:"
This proposed Final Plat is being completed by the Rosemount Port Authority as lots are being sold
and marketed directly west of the storm water detention pond. The Preliminary Plat identified a
varied lot configuration west of the pond. One option was to plat three lots as proposed including the
following acre calculations:
Lot 1, Block 1 = 6.57 acres (2.19 acres "buildable")
Lot 2, Block 1 = 2.18 acres
Lot 3, Block 1 = 6.28 acres (3.93 acres "buildable")
As noted in the above calculations, much of two lots is within easements for ponding, utilities and
trails. Outlots A and B will remain as unplatted until these areas are closer to sales and/or serviced
with streets/utilities.
The Planning Commission recommended approval of this Final Plat on August 13, 1996, and Staff is
recommending approval of this Final Plat due to its conformance with the approved Preliminary Plat.
Recommended Action: Motion to Adopt a Resolution Approving The Final Plat for Rosemount
Business Park First Addition.

RESOLUTION 1996-
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR
ROSEMOUNT BUSINESS PARK FIRST ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount approved the Rosemount Business Park
Preliminary Plat on October 19, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemount has received an application for approval of the Rosemount
Business Park First Addition Final Plat; and
WHEREAS, the Final Plat is in conformance with the approved Preliminary Plat; and
WHEREAS, on August 13, 1996, the Planning Commission of the City of Rosemount reviewed the
Final Plat and has recommended approval of the Rosemount Business Park First Addition Final Plat.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Rosemount hereby
approves the Rosemount Business Park First Addition Final Plat.
ADOPTED this 20th day of August, 1996.
