The City received bids on May 23, 1995 for a new 16' Toro 580D or equal Rotary
Mower. The City received five (5) bids and all vendors were representing Toro machines.
The bids ranged from total bid price including trade-in and sales tax from $56,310.81 to
S 61,314.18. The low bid was from MTI Distributing out of Plymouth, Minnesota.
Staff recommends award of the contract to MTI Distributing.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO RECEIVE BIDS AND AUTHORIZE PURCHASE OF A
1995 16' TORO 580D ROTARY MOWER FROM MTI DISTRIBUTING IN THE AMOUNT OF
556,310.81 INCLUDING SALES TAX.
