The city has received 18 applications to sell cigarettes at the locations listed below. State required Business Tax
Identification Number and Social 5ecurity Number of each license applicant has been received and the$12.00
annual permit fee has been paid.
One vending machine company has installed remote controlled machines so that if minors put money into the
machines they can not receive the cigarettes until an employee pushes a remote control button to drop them
down. Last Call Bar& Grill has this right now. This feature will help control sale of cigarettes to minors. It is
on a volunteer basis, however, the state may eventually require this safety feature.
