WALSH AGENDA t ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT �CM # `f" ATTACHMENTS: ORDINANCE APPROVED BY: At the October 17, 1995 regular meeting, the city council reviewed the proposed amendments to the City Code regarding regulation of dogs and cats sanitation. The proposed amendment would allow police officers to issue citations when animals da not clean up after their dogs or cats on city property or public right-of-way. This amendment was initiated by city staff after receiving complaints over the last several months. City Council consideration of this amendment is the second reading and adoption of the attachment ordinance is recommended. XIV.15 CTI'Y OF ROSEM4UNT __ DAKOTA COUNTY,MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 7,PERTAINING TO POLICE REGUI.ATIONS,DOGS AND CATS SANTTATION , THE CITY COUNCII.OF THE CITY OF ROSEMOUNT,ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Title 7, Chapter 4B, Section 8 of the Rosemount City Code is amended as follows: SATiITATI0I�T: All persons in control of an animal on park property or other citv pro�ertv or nublic ri t-of-wav shall have in his/her possession at all times apparatus which can be used for cleaning up feces and/or a bag for proper disposal of feces.
