Approved By: On May 9, 1995 the Planning Commission reviewed and recommended approval of the revised preliminary plat for Shannon Pond East as proposed by Jim Allen of Hampton Development Corporation. The proposal con.sists of 77 single family lots that would be developed in two phases on 38 acres east of Shannon Parkway and north of 160th Street West . The concept planned unit development (PUD) was approved on September 27, 1994 . The Planning Commission recommended that a public hearing be scheduled by the City Council to review the final PUD, preliminary plat, and rezoning. Recommeaded Action: A MOTION to schedule a public hearing for Tuesday, June 6, 1995 at 8 : 00 p.m. , or as soon thereafter as possible, regarding the Shannon Meadows final planned unit develo ment, preliminar plat, and rezoning. The public hearing listed below pertains to the property generally located north of 160th Street West and east of Shannon Parkway. The proposed Shannon Pond East Residential Planned Unit Development encompasses approximately 38 acres and is legally described as follows: That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (SW 1/a of SE'/a) of Section 31, Township 115, Range 19, Dakota County, Minnesota, lying easterly of the easterly right-of-way line of Shannon Parkway. Excepting therefrom the south 16.0 rods of the east 10.0 rods. The purpose of this hearing is to consider a final development plan for a residential planned unit development, a preliminary plat, and the rezoning from AG Agriculture to R-1 Single Family Residential for the above described property which would be identified as the SxarrtvoN PoND Eas'r subdivision.
