The total project cost is estimated to be 5151,000. Funding for the project includes S 10,900 as the proposed assessment to the Wensmann 7th & 8th Additions with the remainder of the cost to come from the Water Core Funds. The 1988 Comprehensive Potable Water System Plan for the City of Rosemount rec�mmends that this line be installed due to water supply concerns in the southwest corner of Section 30. The timing is right to complete this line with the construction of the Wensmann 7th & 8th Additions. In the Wensmann 7th & 8th Development Contract the assessments were discussed. At the time of final plat submittal and delivery, Wensmann's delivered a check in the amount of $10,900 for this project. However, the Chapter 429 process for Public Hearings is recommended to be followed, but we probably won't have any objections. Since this is not a petitioned project it will take a 4/5 vote of Council to proceed. Staff will provide a brief overview of the project after which the recommended action should be adopted.
