AGENDA ITEM: Award Contract for Wachter 186A Outlet AGENDA SECTION:
Improvements, City Project #257 Old Business
PREPARED BY: Bud Osmundson AGENDA NO.

ATTACHMENTS: Resolution APPROVED BY:
At the May 2, 1995 regular Council meeting, Council received the bids for Wachter 186A
Drainage Outlet Improvements, City Project #249. Because easements for the
Chippendale 42 Partnership property hadn't been obtained yet, it was decided to wait on
the award of the contract.
Today we received a signed Right-of-Entry form from the Chippendate 42 Partnership.
They have agreed to allow us to construct and drain the water per the revised plan which
included the ditch. This was in lieu of having a pipe and easement through the property
which would hinder their ability to develop the property, which will be forthcoming in the
next few weeks. _
The total project cost will be approximatety S 110,000. The City has already spent
approximately $12,000 in engineering, legal, advertisement, plus many hours of Staff
time.
