I would like to discuss with the Council the negotiations to date with the
police union representatives regarding the 1995-96 contract. Because the
discussion will be on labor contract negotiations, it is appropriate to
discuss this matter in a closed meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ADJOURN THE REGULAR AGENDA AND TO HOLD A
CLOSED MEETING FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISCUSSING POLICE UNION CONTRACT
NEGOTIATIONS.
